Some people will only measure life with their measuring stick. And if you got something big, but they got a small measuring stick and you let them measure, they would downsize and downplay your vision, potential and dreams. Winning with wisdom is about having a huge measuring stick and continuing to grow it.

Thomas Williams, aka DJ Corner Stone, was born August 8 1980 in Joliet Illinois. In 1998, He graduated from Joliet West High School, where he and his friends formulated a dance group to perform at Joliet Township High School and community events called the J-Town Impact.

He went on to Alabama A&M University. During his time there he became the dancer/choreographer of an independent record label. He and his label mates created a signature song and dance of the University called The Bulldog Boogie.

Some years later he committed his life to Jesus Christ and began creating Christian Chicago Footwork tracks and House music. Through Restoration Ministries He and his good friend Nick Lee led a Bible Study that incorporated Chicago Footwork to mentor a group of young men from various areas of south suburban Chicago and performed the Chicago footwork dance style in multiple Churches.

In May 2021 he created a show called “Give Us The Works” where he interviews dancers, DJs, and music producers primarily in the Chicago Footwork genre. Later that year he teamed up with friends Mike Alexander and Doctor William Sullivan to formulate the Mic DJ and Doc podcast which services to share beneficial information and biblical guidance on controversial topics for all who listen.

In July 2022 he organized the first annual event titled “Will Werk For Food” which uses Chicago Footwork to raise funds for Food Pantries in the Joliet area.

Currently, he serves on the media team at his home church New Covenant Worship Center located on the west side of Joliet.

Thomas is blessed with 13 1/2 years of marriage to his loving beautiful wife Natasha Williams, 3 wonderful children — Isaiah, Naomi, and Caleb and a mission to encourage people and share God’s love through his life and talents.
